Douglas Katzman 11311a6977 Do a cleanup, a fix, and a rename
* Remove gc_allocate_dirty. It works to not prezero, no more proof needed.
* MAKE-LAYOUT needs %MAKE-INSTANCE/MIXED though it doesn't matter yet
  as all backends currently allocate _only_ to the mixed region.
* Change 'i' to 'gen_num' in write_generation_stats.
