Stylistic changes:

+ Capital 'I' uses longer serifs.

+ Braces '{}' have a more pronounced shape to further differentiate them
  from parentheses '()'.

+ The dollar sign '$' has a continuous line that strikes from top to
  bottom instead of just an extension at either end.  This is because at
  smaller point sizes it might be difficult to tell the difference
  between 'S' and '$'.

+ Same principle for the cent '¢' sign.

+ The zero '0' has a slash instead of an inner dot.  Roman letters use
  an oval shape, while italics have retained the outer shape of capital
  'O'.  This change is necessary because the inner dot is not always at
  the centre, depending on the size of the font.

+ Provide two extra weights: book (450) and extrabold (800).  These
  complement regular (400) and bold (700).

All other changes are due to upstream's adjustments.
