Stefan Haller 5c4c7139d7 Remove the scroll calls that are now redundant
Every one of these did by hand what focusing the list now does on its
own: five hand-added scroll requests, and four origin resets that paired
a "select the first item" with a "and show the top of the list".

The scroll that the commits refresh performed when it found the selected
commit at a new index goes too. It is now unconditional for a foreground
refresh, and deliberately absent for a background one: when an agent
commits in another window, we would rather see the new commits arrive
than have the view yank itself back to the commit we had selected.

The one origin reset that stays is the one in ReApplyFilter, which runs
as part of a refresh and so can't rely on the refresh scrolling.

Stefan Haller 4c39b0b903 Run the stash operations with a waiting status
Creating and applying a stash both touch every changed file, so in a
large repo they can take long enough to be noticeable — and running them
on the UI thread meant the confirmation popup stayed on screen, frozen,
for the whole operation. Run them on a worker instead, with a spinner,
and keep blocking input for their duration so that the type-ahead
guarantee the refresh used to provide still holds.

Dropping stays on the UI thread: it only rewrites the stash reflog, so
it's fast no matter how big the stashes are.

Stefan Haller ed22322ec8 Collapse the stash range selection from the refresh's Then
Collapsing the range before kicking off the refresh paints the new
selection against the list as it was before the drop, so for a frame the
entries that were just dropped are still on screen (and, with
gui.shrinkSidePanelsToContent, the panel is still at its old size).

Stefan Haller 6c567d1eb6 Switch to the files panel from the post-stash refresh's Then
Pushing the files context right after kicking off the refresh moves the
focus (and, with gui.shrinkSidePanelsToContent, resizes the panels) a
frame before the refreshed stash and files lists arrive. Doing it from
Then puts it in the same frame as the data it belongs to.

Stefan Haller 544f3b834b Apply the panel updates after stash operations in a single frame
Stashing and popping change both the stash list and the files list.
With each scope updating the UI as soon as its own refresh is done, the
two panels visibly change at different times; with
gui.shrinkSidePanelsToContent that also means their sizes change at
different times than their contents.

Stefan Haller fc975f32a8 Block input while the refresh after a stash operation is in flight
Popping or dropping a stash shifts the indices of the entries below it,
and renaming re-creates the stash at the top, shifting all the others.
The stash model is only rebuilt by the refresh, which finishes in the
background, so acting on the next entry in quick succession — pressing
the key, confirming the popup, and pressing again right away — reads the
stale pre-operation indices and targets the wrong stash. Note that the
confirmation popup is no protection here: the race starts when the
confirm handler runs, and the next keypress can easily beat the refresh.

Use RefreshBlockingInput so a quick follow-up keypress is buffered and
replayed once the refreshed stash list is in place.

Stefan Haller 1b0cc02e1e Refresh once when dropping multiple stash entries
Dropping a range of stashes ran a refresh after each drop. A refresh
issued from the UI thread does its git work on a worker and applies the
model update in the background, so firing one per iteration let the
workers race: an earlier drop's refresh (which read a stash list that
still contained a later-dropped entry) could apply its result last,
leaving the stash view showing an entry that git had already removed.

Refresh once, after all the drops, so a single worker reads the final
stash list. The indices are captured up front and dropped highest-first,
so the remaining lower indices stay valid without an intervening
refresh. It's also cheaper: one `git stash list` instead of one per
entry.

Stefan Haller 737fb98967 Move the new-worktree keybinding from worktrees to universal
The command was renamed from "View worktree options" to "New worktree",
but its keybinding config key was still 'worktrees.viewWorktreeOptions'.
That name no longer matches the command, and the 'worktrees' section made
little sense: it held a single binding that isn't even used in the
worktrees panel (that panel uses universal.new), only in the branches,
remotes, tags, commits, and stash panels. Other keybinding sections are
named after the panel they're local to; this one wasn't local to any.

Move it to universal.newWorktree, which describes the action and drops the
spurious section, and migrate existing configs automatically.

Stefan Haller 23d01ac1bd Redesign the 'w' worktree-creation flow
The old flow forced an up-front "normal vs detached" menu (meaningless for
commits, tags and stashes), then asked the user to type a worktree path from
scratch — easy to get wrong, and ambiguous about what relative paths resolve
against. It also offered the same two actions everywhere regardless of what
was selected.

Replace it with per-context "Worktree" menus whose items imply the intent
(new branch + worktree, worktree for an existing branch, detached worktree),
each feeding a shared name -> location -> create pipeline. The location menu
offers candidate parent directories as absolute paths instead of a blank
field, and "Worktree for a branch" is disabled (with a reason) when that
branch is already checked out somewhere, rather than failing after the fact.

Each ref/commit panel binds 'w' in its own controller and calls the matching
typed entry point on the worktree helper, so which menu opens is decided
statically by the call site rather than by dispatching on a ref's dynamic
type. The three commit panels share one menu through BasicCommitsController;
there is no longer a shared worktree-options controller.

The worktrees-panel 'n' flow and its old core (NewWorktree /
NewWorktreeCheckout) are left untouched here so nothing is written and then
rewritten; they migrate, and the dead i18n strings get removed, in a
follow-up commit.

Stefan Haller efd4298b5e Avoid scrolling the selection into view on refresh
It is possible to scroll the selection out of view using the mouse wheel; after
doing this, it would sometimes scroll into view by itself again, for example
when a background fetch occurred. In the files panel this would even happen
every 10s with every regular files refresh.

Fix this by adding a scrollIntoView parameter to HandleFocus, which is false by
default, and is only set to true from controllers that change the selection.

Stefan Haller b3435bd59c Add AllowEmptyInput flag to PromptOpts
Most of our prompts don't (shouldn't) allow empty input, but most callers didn't
check, and would run into cryptic errors when the user pressed enter at an empty
prompt (e.g. when creating a new branch). Now we simply don't allow hitting
enter in this case, and show an error toast instead.

This behavior is opt-out, because there are a few cases where empty input is
supported (e.g. creating a stash).

Stefan Haller d82852a909 Change Refresh to not return an error
Refresh is one of those functions that shouldn't require error handling (similar
to triggering a redraw of the UI, see
https://github.com/jesseduffield/lazygit/issues/3887).

As far as I see, the only reason why Refresh can currently return an error is
that the Then function returns one. The actual refresh errors, e.g. from the git
calls that are made to fetch data, are already logged and swallowed. Most of the
Then functions do only UI stuff such as selecting a list item, and always return
nil; there's only one that can return an error (updating the rebase todo file in
LocalCommitsController.startInteractiveRebaseWithEdit); it's not a critical
error if this fails, it is only used for setting rebase todo items to "edit"
when you start an interactive rebase by pressing 'e' on a range selection of
commits. We simply log this error instead of returning it.

Jesse Duffield 7bddf53223 Improve keybinding descriptions
This adds a bunch of tooltips to keybindings and updates some keybinding descriptions (i.e. labels).

It's in preparation for displaying more keybindings on-screen (in the bottom right of the screen),
and so due in part to laziness it shortens some descriptions so that we don't need to manage both
a short and long description (for on-screen vs in-menu). Nonetheless I've added a ShortDescription
field for when we do want to have both a short and long description.

You'll notice that some keybindings I deemed unworthy of the options view have longer descriptions,
because I could get away with it.

Jesse Duffield a5f3515ad8 Set groundwork for better disabled reasons with range select
Something dumb that we're currently doing is expecting list items
to define an ID method which returns a string. We use that when copying
items to clipboard with ctrl+o and when getting a ref name for diffing.

This commit gets us a little deeper into that hole by explicitly requiring
list items to implement that method so that we can easily use the new
helper functions in list_controller_trait.go.

In future we need to just remove the whole ID thing entirely but I'm too
lazy to do that right now.

Jesse Duffield 54bd94ad24 Add SetSelection function for list contexts and use it in most places
The only time we should call SetSelectedLineIdx is when we are happy for a
select range to be retained which means things like moving the selected line
index to top top/bottom or up/down a page as the user navigates.

But in every other case we should now call SetSelection because that will
set the selected index and cancel the range which is almost always what we
want.

Stefan Haller e5dd4d3110 Allow the selected line of a list view to be outside the visible area
I don't see a reason why this restriction to have the selection be always
visible was necessary. Removing it has two benefits:

1. Scrolling a list view doesn't change the selection. A common scenario: you
look at one of the commits of your current branch; you want to see the how
many'th commit this is, but the beginning of the branch is scrolled off the
bottom of the commits panel. You scroll down to find the beginning of your
branch, but this changes the selection and shows a different commit now - not
   what you want.

2. It is possible to scroll a panel that is not the current one without changing
the focus to it. That's how windows in other GUIs usually behave.
