Mainly to improve contrast between light logo and
its shadow at the bottom of the crossbar. Some further
manual hinting, trying to hit as many whole or nearly-
whole pixels as possible.
The Gentoo package for ungoogled-chromium recently added separation from the official filenames for Chromium binaries, including icons. This PR adds symlinks from ungoogled-chromium-browser to chromium-browser to support this change.
Parity with Breeze for KDE apps like Koko "Photos" Image Gallery.
Make transform-rotate a little closer in style to transform-move and
transform-scale. This makes makes its image-rotate alias fit better when shown
alongside image-flip-* and image-rotate-*

- Added icons for the game "Sheepy: A Short Adventure".
- It is also available from itch.io, but I have no idea if that would require separate symbolic links or not.
- In trying to remain true to the original icon (which I will try to link to the pr) I had to compromise a little on pixel alignment, but I think it still looks okay because the shapes being portrayed are somewhat organic in nature.
- Amended Sheepy icons with reviewed variants. Conversion to path not yet done.
- Icon bases that don't strictly represent a vintage computer's
outer case get the 2-tone treatment for contrast and also to
make them fit in with the other ones. Layered the other way
around, since they represent a different concept? Idk, it
looks good.
- Not vice-xsid, because that already has a multi-shade base.
- Make some of the beige colours warmer
- Make the shaped icons' bases 2-tone, the ones that represent vintage
computer cases, anyway. It also helps them stand out better against a
wider range of backgrounds.
- 32px: reinstate shadow, it doesn't harm it at this size.
- 16px thru 24px: use an odd pixel size so that the logo dot
is centred on a pixel. It looks sharper like this.
Addendum to #4244.
Using coloured paper now, and the same text style everywhere for more
consistency. Some of the colours reference official logos, but without
the hexagons and crystal shards and gradients that are becoming popular
for this family of languages.
The "Objective" branch now has a slightly different base colour.
Partly addresses consistency concerns raised in #3932.
Use the proportions for apps/nwg-readme-browser for mimetypes/
text-x-readme. Fixes the mimetype looking far too skinny.
Soften styles for both at sizes >= 32px, making them rounded like the
font. The squarishness was very jarring in the mimetype icon at large
sizes.
The darkish but hi-chroma purple was not working well against our dark
grey base: APCA shows a contrast of Lc ~-15, which is almost invisible
for many users.
Keep the hi-chroma purple colour, but as backdrop with their secondary
branding design on top of it. Fine for a mimetype. Contrast now Lc -78,
which should feel a lot nicer.
- Fix the margins.
- Keep the nice major layering shadows and colours.
- Improve features for the LibreSprite 22 and 24 sizes.
- Redraw to match the Papirus style:
- Retain hints of pixelization for the features.
- Aseprite uses a similar one for its hires icon.
- Remove the overbright pixels at the corners on dark backgrounds.
- Lighten the base colour above #4f4f4f for dark themes.
The VICE logo never seemed to fit right in a circle alone. Tweak the
base shape to something that fits the logo better by following the line
of the curvy "V" element more.
Logo-in-a-circle is overused anyway. Papirus icons should have have
distinct outlines.
Since actual SuperCPU units were a direct-attach peripheral in a boxy, black-
faced case, make the background a rectangle. Hope it's distinct enough from
vice-vsid now.
